Autumn is my favorite time of the year because it is always a fresh start and brings structure to my schedule after the summer. This time of the year always brings me happiness because of the beautiful change in season which is the reason I incorporate specific elements in my work. These elements are leaves, branches and, most importantly, a fall color palette.  I find nature being the place I gather most of my ideas from. I gravitate towards neutral glaze colors such as greens, blues, and earth tones. I like to use these objects to imprint into the clay, or by painting underglaze on to them to highlight the natural lines of the found element.
